WHO WE ARE

Barns Of Grace is committed to raising awareness about global issues and needs by offering people the chance to engage personally.

Barns Of Grace is a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to providing training in community development in some of the world’s most difficult regions. The organization equips Christian leaders with self-help skills to address fundamental human needs, covering physical, spiritual, social, and economic aspects.

This involves both learning from and working alongside individuals with limited resources. Since its establishment in 1994, Barns Of Grace has trained church and community leaders in over four countries. The organization has also encouraged hundreds of North Americans to step out of their comfort zones, embrace different cultures and social classes, and unite in Christ

Blessing Workshops

As a Christian nonprofit organization that provides training in self-help programs for those in need, Barns Of Grace operates based on the following principles:
We believe that individuals and communities can thrive more effectively when they embrace the teachings of Jesus while using their personal talents to teach others a new skill, prioritizing love, justice, and compassion for everyone. This focus on Christ’s teachings guides our projects, but Barns Of Grace collaborates with anyone who shares our goals, regardless of their beliefs. This approach highlights, rather than diminishes, the Spirit of Christ.

Sustainable Growth can bring about social, physical, economic, and spiritual changes.
Barns Of Grace advocates for long-term growth instead of short-term relief.

Our aim is for every word and action to enhance self-esteem, affirm individual potential, and encourage people to grow and become more self-reliant. We reject anything that fosters dependency, choosing instead to support self-sufficiency. We cultivate a relationship of equals, akin to siblings, rather than a paternalistic or maternalistic one. Barns Of Grace works alongside people, not for them.
We invite others to join us on this inspiring journey, allowing the Spirit of God to transform our perspectives and use our personal talents to help to change the populations today!.

Our Mission and Vision

Barns of Grace is dedicated to serving individuals and communities in Venezuela, El Salvador, Colombia, Mexico and United States by embodying the love and compassion of Christ as outlined in Matthew 25:31-46. Our mission is to offer sustainable growth and training, empowering people to meet their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Evangelism: Through our mission, we will reach out with grace and love, meeting the needs of “the least of these” and reflecting the Kingdom of God in every action and interaction. “Evangelism through compassion envisions a world where acts of mercy and service not only transform lives but also serve as a powerful testament to the love and salvation of Christ.”
Matthew 28:19 (KJV):
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”
Volunteer Network: Develop a network of local and foreign volunteers and advocates who use their talents (teaching & training) to participate and to provide on-the-ground support.
Health and Wellness: Provide support in areas of health and wellness, including mental health services and access to medical care.
Community Projects: Implement projects that promote sustainable growth thru our blessing workshops, such as urban aquaponics, fish culture, sewing, welding and metal working.
Mercy in Action: Organize community service events and outreach programs, medical and provide meals for children, that demonstrate Christ’s love through tangible acts of kindness and support.
Empowerment: Equip individuals with the tools and support needed to improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency by practical short and long-term training.
